Our Mission Values

  • Respect the unique beliefs of all faith traditions.

  • Give all patients, families, guests and staff the appropriate spiritual care.

  • Act with integrity as we serve each individual.

  • Exhibit compassionate care in all cases.

Our Vision

Our vision is to serve healthcare facilities by:

  • Being an integral asset in the patient plan of care.

  • Make an accurate spiritual assessment of patients, families, guests and staff.

  • Connecting with the faith community supporting your facility and coordinating the diverse spiritual needs of your stakeholders.

  • Raising your maternal levels of care designation.

Our Structure

Our structure provides chaplains to serve your facility:

  • A primary chaplain credentialed through your credentialing agency.

  • Chaplain(s) trained in the Studor communication model, AIDET & No Pass Zone (10-5).

  • Regularly scheduled unit rounding three times a week.

  • 24/7/365 coverage for emergencies or other critical incidents involving your facility within the “golden hour.”

Our Strategy

Our strategy is to partner with facilities who align with the view that spiritual care improves outcomes in mortality, coping and recovery for the patient.

  • These facilities see our role in patient plan of care as an added value.

  • These facilities promote us by educating the staff of our services.

Why a Palm Tree?

The palm tree was chosen because of its ability to withstand hurricane force storms.  Many of the patients we consult with are facing hurricane force health related diagnosis in their lives.  Our intent is to be a source of hope, like the palm tree that bends, but doesn't break, our patients gain a sense of stability during uncertain times.
